Sometimes people’s perception can be changed. One particular client had nothing but problems with construction companies and had asked people to leave their property. Yet how would David Russo Building Services Ltd fair?The property owners had needed extensive corrective work to their property and over time they had been disappointed in the performance of various companies attending to do the tasks. After discussion with the clients, it became apparent that they had a perception of construction companies as slow, unreliable, untidy time wasters. Previous work had fallen in to at least one of the above categories and a few had even been asked to leave the property because of the poor quality of workmanship and behavior. The clients showed and explained what was required and David Russo Buidling Services set to work.
The project required was general maintenance to the property, which involved flooring work, walls and ceiling and general plumbing and electrical work. The work was completed within the time allocated for the job and to the high standards David Russo Building Services Ltd is well known for.
Once the job was completed, the office supplied a courtesy call was made to the client which was gratefully received. A few days later a letter thanking the frim for the quality of thier work and behavior came through the post – it is held in the David Russo offices for inspection by new clients.
This has shown that people’s perception can be changed if the customer is given the service they require and expect. The team had a hard task ahead of them, yet they proved that professionalism and dedication to the job will bring successful results.
